Voters are rarely aware of the qualifications and abilities of the judicial candidates. They refer to party labels when electing the judges. Also, it is often observed that the public relies on the attractiveness of the judicial candidates’ names while electing them as they do not have any other information about the candidates. People often claim that in urban counties there are so many candidates on the ballot that the voters can't make informed decisions (Champagne et al., 2021). Many people do not take much interest in the judicial elections as they do not know anything about it. They feel they should not vote if they do not have much information regarding the candidates.
